Marvel Studios has confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will return for a second season, following the conclusion of its first season on Disney+ on 15 April. The continuation will build on the eight-episode arc originally planned to span 18 episodes, as revealed by executive producer Sana Amanat and showrunner Dario Scardapane.
Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, and Jon Bernthal are all set to reprise their roles. Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Genneya Walton (B.B. Urich) will also return, with Wilson Bethel spotted on set as Bullseye. New additions include Matthew Lillard and Lili Taylor in undisclosed roles, broadening the show’s cast dynamics.
Filming for the second season began in March 2025 in New York, with Amanat noting a refreshed setting and more elaborate action scenes. A behind-the scenes video reveals a first look at a fight between Daredevil and Bullseye.
Directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead will return to direct part of the season, praised for their impact on the show’s tone.
Dario Scardapane remains the lead showrunner and has penned the season’s pilot and finale. While, no plot details have been officially released, cast members have hinted at an intense and emotional storyline. Vincent D’Onofrio mentioned, “It’s going to be a lot of work… full of physical altercations.”
Season 2 is scheduled for a 2026 release on Disney+, with Marvel aiming for an annual rollout.
