A domestic helper fled from a house in Saeed Colony with gold jewellery worth Rs15 million and cash amounting to Rs500,000.
According to a trader, Mujahid Ali, a resident of Saeed Colony, Saadia, a resident of Lakhwana, had been working fro him as domestic help for eight years.
She left the home on Friday. Upon inspection, it was discovered that she had stolen 42 tola of gold jewellery, Rs500,000, a watch, and other items. She escaped in a rickshaw with accomplices. The Madina Town police initiated a search.
