Rapper Kevin Gates is standing firm amid growing online criticism of his relationship with media personality Brittany Renner.
The couple, who first sparked dating rumors after appearing on DDG’s live stream last month, have since confirmed their connection by sharing intimate moments on social media.
Most recently, Renner posted a series of black-and-white romantic photos on Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “When Allah places something in your heart, nothing can stand in its way 🦅♥️🤲.” The post quickly stirred a mix of praise and skepticism from followers, with some expressing concern over Renner’s choice of partner.
Gates didn’t hesitate to respond to the negativity. In the comments section, he directly addressed critics. One user questioned Renner’s intentions, suggesting she had ulterior motives. “Motive accomplished,” Gates replied, with laughing emojis. Another speculated that Renner might be financially benefiting from the relationship, to which Gates responded, “All I have is the little that God bless me with.”
This comes shortly after a woman named Persia alleged that she had been romantically involved with Gates when he went public with Renner in March. She even shared a phone call confronting the rapper and claimed his team later sent her threats, though Gates has not publicly commented on the accusation.
Gates also revealed a detail about his relationship with Renner, stating that she intentionally avoids checking his phone, quoting her as saying, “I’m just minding my business.”
