Rapper Travis Scott made a shocking appearance during the WrestleMania 41 main event, but it didn’t end well for him.
As Cody Rhodes battled John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship, Scott interfered in the match — only to get dropped by a Cross Rhodes.
The drama unfolded on Sunday night at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where Cody Rhodes and John Cena headlined Night 2 of WrestleMania 41. During the chaotic closing moments of the match, Scott’s track “FE!N” blared through the arena speakers as he walked down the ramp to a stunned crowd.
After previously aligning with Cena and The Rock during the Elimination Chamber, Scott played the role of disruptor once again. He pulled the referee out of the ring just as Rhodes was about to secure a win. Moments later, Scott entered the ring to confront Rhodes and attempted to slap him.
However, “The American Nightmare” had the last word. Cody caught the slap attempt and delivered his signature Cross Rhodes to the hip-hop star, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
The moment was a callback to Elimination Chamber, where Scott slapped Rhodes as Cena and The Rock turned heel. WWE fans on social media quickly reacted to the WrestleMania moment, with “CROSS RHODES” trending immediately after the segment.
Travis Scott’s involvement added a wild celebrity twist to an already intense rivalry between Cena and Rhodes, ending with Cody getting a measure of revenge before ultimately losing the championship to Cena later in the match.
