Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bat first in the ninth match of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Both Zalmi and Multan Sultans are seeking their first win of the season after losing their opening two matches.
Last year’s finalists, Multan Sultans, were defeated by Karachi Kings and Islamabad United in their first two outings. Peshawar Zalmi, meanwhile, struggled with the bat while chasing targets against Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.
